Local Landing Pages
Local landing pages are dedicated subpages of a website optimized for a specific location. They bundle location-specific content such as address, services and local references in order to be found more easily in regional search.

Local landing pages, also called location pages, are individual pages of a website that are each focused on a specific place or service area. A business with multiple branches or service areas creates a separate page for each relevant location. The goal is to become visible for location-based search queries, such as a service combined with a city name, and to provide searchers with suitable local information directly.
A good local landing page contains substantial, location-specific content. This includes the exact address and reachability, the services offered on site, opening hours, contacts, directions, and genuine local references such as regional projects or specifics. Location-based reviews or a map embed are often added as well.
The central danger is so-called thin content, that is, sparse, interchangeable content. Anyone who creates nearly identical pages for many locations and merely swaps the place name offers real value neither to search engines nor to users. Such pages can be classified as low quality and, in the worst case, weaken the entire domain. Each location page should therefore have its own, genuinely location-specific content.
Local landing pages are particularly worthwhile when there really is enough specific to say about a location. If there is not, a single, stronger page is often more useful than many thin variants.
Example / Practical context
A trade company operates in three cities. Instead of a single general page, it creates a separate landing page for each city. Each page names the specific service area, describes projects carried out locally, lists the responsible contacts, and includes local customer testimonials. Because the content is different and specific per location, the pages appear for the respective location-based search queries and avoid the thin-content trap.
Distinction from similar terms
